Looking at today and looking at tomorrow.
Ours is the last generation of civilisation and some sanity still left. Next generation is going to see unprecedented conflicts among the people of this word- The possibility of the world war is nothing that was always around the corner is now almost glaring the world in the face- The growth in population by 2020 is expected at 10 billion causing mass shortages of foodgrains, oil, and space. the migration is already adversely affecting the European countries and other countries of civilised and prosperous nations. The population of have-nots will overwhelmingly surpass the imagination. This poverty will force these have-nots to turn to crime and join terrorist groups which can destabilise the weaker Governments like Pakistan, African states, Bangladesh, some newly formed governments in eastern Europe after the breakup of Russia. The natural calamities will take a bigger toll than ever before, The natural resources will be ravaged. The temperature is going to rise more than one degree . Glaciers are melting in Himalayas and Antarctica and Northpole. Potable water shortages, lessening of arable lands, floods and droughts will further add to the woes. The ecological destruction will continue to rise due to some powerful and super greedy rich people who are ruling the countries by controlling them. Politicians are being bought and sold with their money power- elsewhere the uncontrolled Armies like in Pakistan, North Korea, Burma are becoming more dangerous with nuclear weapons under their control. So the Governments depend, either on rich industrialists or Military and both only worry about their own interests. United Nation ha lost the teeth. Even the charitable organisation and NGOs are becoming easy commodities for the Government in power and are easily bought or sold. The whole picture is so messy that you have to look for a space for breathing like a needle in a haystack.
So yesterday I was cursing to be born in the present time of disturbances and poverty and shortages of everything along with the price rise and taxes. But today when I take a look at tomorrow
and thank God with all my humbleness and humility for his mercy with almost a smile on my face.
